Introduction

Welcome to MyFlats ("the Service"), operated by myflatss.com. By submitting a request to access the Service, creating an account, or using any part of the platform, you ("Owner" or "User") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms").

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service. These Terms apply in addition to any separate agreement entered into between you and MyFlats.

Service Description

MyFlats is a cloud-based flat management platform that allows property owners to manage their properties, units, tenants, payments, and expenses in one place. The Service includes but is not limited to:

  • Property and unit management
  • Tenant registration, tracking, and communication
  • Payment scheduling and recording
  • Expense tracking and reporting
  • Automated email notifications and reminders

Access to the Service is granted following a review and approval process initiated by submitting a Request Access form. MyFlats reserves the right to approve or decline any access request at its sole discretion.

Eligibility & Account

To use the Service you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be the legal owner or authorised manager of the property you register
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify MyFlats immediately at [email protected] of any unauthorised use of your account.

Owner Responsibilities

As an Owner using the Service, you agree to:

  • Provide truthful and accurate information about your properties and tenants
  • Obtain all necessary consents from tenants before entering their personal data into the platform
  • Comply with all applicable local property laws, tenancy regulations, and data protection legislation
  • Not use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose
  • Not share your account credentials with unauthorised parties
  • Keep tenant records up to date and remove data that is no longer required

MyFlats acts solely as a software tool provider and does not assume any responsibility for the legal relationship between you and your tenants.

Data & Privacy

MyFlats collects and processes personal data (name, email address, phone number, and property details) provided during registration and throughout use of the Service.

This data is used exclusively to:

  • Set up and maintain your account
  • Provide and improve the Service
  • Send service-related communications and notifications
  • Send email updates about new features, improvements, and offers from myflatss.com (subject to your consent)

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is stored securely and retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described above or as required by law.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting [email protected].

Email Communications

By submitting a Request Access form, you consent to receive the following types of emails from myflatss.com:

  • Transactional emails — account setup confirmation, password resets, and service updates directly related to your account
  • Operational notifications — system alerts, maintenance notices, and important platform changes
  • Marketing & product updates — new feature announcements, tips, and promotional offers from myflatss.com

You may opt out of marketing and product update emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any such email or by contacting [email protected]. Opting out of marketing emails will not affect transactional or operational communications, which are necessary to provide the Service.

Payment Terms

Access to the Service may be subject to a subscription fee based on the pricing plan assigned to your account by MyFlats. The applicable fees and billing cycle will be communicated to you before your account is activated.

  • All fees are quoted and charged in the currency agreed upon at account setup
  • Fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law
  • MyFlats reserves the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' written notice
  • Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of access

Intellectual Property

All content, software, trademarks, and materials forming part of the Service are the exclusive property of MyFlats or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service solely for its intended purpose.

You must not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of any part of the Service without prior written consent from MyFlats.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. MyFlats does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyFlats shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement by providing written notice. MyFlats may suspend or terminate your access immediately and without notice if:

  • You breach any of these Terms
  • You fail to pay applicable fees
  • Your use of the Service is fraudulent, abusive, or causes harm to others

Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. You may request an export of your data within 30 days of termination, after which your data may be deleted.

Changes to These Terms

MyFlats reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. When changes are made, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. You will be notified by email of any material changes. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
